Foundation to Bridging Theory Cram and Exam training course.

  • 27th 28th 29th Aug – Cram and Exam Weekend (Foundation Upgrade to Standard).

This Course is run when we have sufficient interest, normally once or twice per year.

SRESU normally recommend the Standard Cram Course provided by the Radio & Electronics School http://www.radioelectronicschool.net/index.php?cmd=standard

The course is offered on a two CD set and is designed as a cram course. ( i.e. you work through it as quickly a possible). Many students do an hour or two each day and it normally takes 6-8 weeks from start to finish.

Once you are working well through the CDs and have been obtaining good results in the quiz and drills provided, the SRESU can provide you with a day’s revision and assessment. Please remember the program is designed for you to work quickly though the training, learn and retain the knowledge and do the assessment. If you take more than say 10 weeks, you will start to forget what you learnt at the start. These CDs also have a use by date and will stop working after while, so don’t stop the program once you order the CDs.

The Standard Theory and Regulation assessment papers will need to be taken. You can split these up if you need to.

Amateur Radio Victoria and some other clubs also runs Bridging Courses each year.

The SRESU can arrange WIA Examination for Certificate of Proficiency (Standard).

Please use the Contact SRESU page to seek additional information.
