Become more than a passenger on the radio waves. Have you ever wanted to learn a little more about Amateur (Ham) Radio but have been unsure where to start?

With a little pre-reading of the training book and attending the 1.5 day course you will know if you are ready to achieve your first Amateur Radio Licence.

Learn the skills to become an Amateur Radio Operator. This course is available to mature Scouts, Venturers, Rovers and Leaders. Amateur Radio Operators Certificate of Proficiency (Foundation) course and assessment includes Theory and Practical training. You have an option to sit the assessment on the Sunday of the Course.

Achieving your Amateur Operators Certificate of Proficiency (Foundation) will allow you to apply for a Foundation Amateur Radio Licence.

Course includes colour training book, a weekend of theory and practice, light lunches and the option to sit the assessment at conclusion of the course.
