With a little pre-reading of the training book and attending the 1.5 day course you will know if you are ready to achieve your first Amateur Radio Licence.

The course is ideal for teen-aged scouts upward and provides an ideal opportunity to gain your communications badge while aiming for the competency.

Completing the training and achieving your licence is ideal as a Venturer Pursuit activity.and may be combined with service activities too.

Course includes colour training book, a weekend of theory and practice, light lunches and the option to sit the assessment at conclusion of the course.

What is next? Participating in amateur radio activities including contests and building workshops is a great way to broaden your knowledge and start to build up your own station.
