Information for Amateur Radio Clubs

Thank you for your interest in JOTA.

JOTA in Victoria is coordinated by the SRESU under the supervision of the State Leader – Radio & Electronics.

How can our club get involved?

JOTA/JOTI must be organised by a Scout Group. If you club would like to get involved, please get in touch with your local Scout Group or contact the JOTA Coordinator and we will assist finding a group.

We ask that all participants from your club MUST hold a current Working With Children Check (WWC). This is a MANDATORY requirement. All trainers and assessors including JOTA / JOTI operators must be committed to protecting our young people.

You may apply for the WWC on line. See http://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/

We have a new National JOTA / JOTI system to enable you to provide more detail about your JOTA / JOTI site and team running the activity. This page will enable you to register your operators, the activities that you will be doing and lots more…

Please visit https://vkjotijota.com/

We anticipate by having all Australian JOTA / JOTI sites registered in one place it will encourage more activity and sharing of ideas.

Thank you in advance for your support of  JOTA / JOTI 2019.
