Morse Code Battleships

This makes a good indoor activity for Scouts or Venturers.

In the early 1900’s communications was sent by Morse Code via signal lamps and later by wireless sets. This game relives the world of trying to find your opponents ships and signalling your fleet. Making a signalling set can be very simple. Have a go and if you find it fun, you can always make your ocean bigger by drawing a larger grid and using the whole alphabet. The download is game file (PDF file) print out two copies per game. Have fun!
